Two longtime Pok-O-MacCready family members were honored last week, in conjunction with the Camp MacCready 50th Anniversary celebration.
Kelly Daley Zimmerman was bestowed a sailboat in her name for her 25 years of service to the camp staff in a variety of functions, from counselor, waterfront director, tutor, nurse’s aid and, most notably, boating director.
Sue Andrews Bagli is arguably the most influential person in the history of Pok-O-MacCready’s riding program, having served two terms as program director, in the 1980’s, and 2010’s. In her honor, the long-referred to “New Barn” has been renamed The Sue Barn.
Bagli is a 2nd generation distinguished alumna; her father Bob was one of the early recipients of a rowboat named in his honor.
