Picking – and tossing – berries.

The C.I.T.’s and Intermediate girls teamed up the other day for a trip to Rolfe’s Farm in nearbyEJD_5243 Peru, N.Y.  “We don’t usually get to do stuff with the Intermediates so I had a lot of fun,” said CIT Sierra.

While trips to the farm are generally reserved for strawberry, this time the goal was blueberries. And this time, the kids not only picked them, they had fun with them:

“We threw the berries in the air and head-butted them,” reported Nora W, with Annie C adding that “It was really fun; we threw berries at each other.”

However, there was a practical purpose to the trip, as Annie continued,  “But we also picked a lot of them, brought them back to camp and set them out to eat.”
