Visiting Day Saturday

All of us at Pok-O-MacCready – especially the campers – are looking forward to seeing their parents, and other visitors this coming weekend.  The following is our session #2 visiting day letter, from camp directors Brian DeGroat and Sarah Disney:

16_parents01Dear Parents & Friends,

Greetings from Camp! The sun is shining in the Adirondacks and our campers are busy making friends and having fun. Visiting Day this year will be Saturday, August 6th, starting at 9:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm.  We encourage campers and their families to stay for our annual Pok-O Picnic at 11:30 am.  It will be great food and a lot of fun!

After the Picnic, you are welcome to take your child out for the afternoon.  If you choose to stay at camp for the afternoon, you may enjoy any of the great activities that our campers are16_parents03 involved in such as boating, sports, swimming and indoor climbing at The Crux.  Camp activities will be accessible until 4:30pm.  If you leave camp with your child please be sure to have him/her back to the MacCready ball field by 7:00pm so their counselors can escort them to Robinson Hall the 112th North Country Bingo Night. Additionally, a list of area attractions has been attached for those wanting to see more of the Adirondacks.

As always, please call or email if you have any questions!  See you Saturday!
