The Great Journey

Held the afternoon of the opening day of Tribal Games, the Great Journey takes the MacCready braves on a trip around Pok-O-MacCreEJD_7629ady property, testing their speed, while they perform a set of challenges ranging from barrel rolling to tennis ball hitting.

The Seneca crossed the finish line (or, more to the point, rang the finish bell) first, although that alone did not guarantee victory for the tribe in yellow, as they also had to be judged on the accuracy of aEJD_7659 message passed along throughout the race.

Still, tribe member Elsa was confident of her team’s chances:  “I did the kayak leg, we were in first place, and I think we only missed a few words on the message” she said.

In fact, what you at home now know, but has yet to be officially announced at camp, is that the Seneca did win the Great Journey!  The Mohawk still lead the overall standings.
