Fall Adventure Race to Benefit Two Causes

Registration is under way for the debut running (and hiking) of the POND SPRINT fund raising race.

The race is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at 10:00am.

POND SPRINT is derived from the former BARASU race, which was staged in 2014.  Two major changes are in place for 2015:
SmallLogo

-A brand new course including a shorter POND HIKE course for hikers

-In addition to the Adirondack Scholarship
Foundation, the Long Pond Conservancy will serve as a joint beneficiary

“We’re not sure yet what to expect,” said Tim Singer, director of Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.  “When the Patch Sprint went public in 2000, we had less than 20 runners.  This year there were 180 participants.  If Pond Sprint grows even half that quickly, we’ll be pleased!”
