Bob Andrews, former Pok-O camper, counselor, and headmaster, who last May become the first 80-year old to complete the Patch Sprint course, was recently cited in a newspaper story in his North Carolina hometown.

In the article, Bob talks about his dedication towards training for the event as a means to keep in great shape, along with the importance of the event as a fundraiser for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.

From the story:  “Andrews proudly states that in those events, he’s ‘a racer, not a trekker. I train for these races 12 months a year,’ he said”
