Fall Race Raises Money for ADK Scholarship

16Breaking away from the field in the first half mile, and widening the gap the rest of the way, six-time Patch Sprint champion Jason Fiegl (Reber, NY) continued his mastery of the course by capturing the inaugural BARASU Adventure Race, held October 11, in Willsboro, NY.

Cara Gentry (Kingston, NY) captured the women’s division, despite still recovering from Lyme’s disease.

The racers, volunteers and spectators at the debut BARASU event pitched in to raise money for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.  The pledge will be used to assist a local (Willsboro, NY) child attend summer camp in 2015.
