Campers, along with a few staff, showcased their acting and musical talents (or at least entertainment skills) at Monday evening’s opening camp Moonshiner, held on the Nevin Whiteley Memorial stage at Robinson Hall.
A Moonshiner is the Pok-O-MacCready term for skit night; there will be several of them during the summer, including a more serious talent show, scheduled for next week. On last night’s bill were a number of acts, with virtually every camp section represented. Of particular note were Brandon‘s original song, courageously performed solo acapella; and another original tune, about free swim, sung by MacCready’s Lodge section. The show concluded with Caroline and Celia leading the entire camp in a sing a long of “All of Me.”
