While all spots for racers and trekkers have been taken*, there are still a dozen or so openings for prospective volunteers and guests for the 2014 Patch Sprint, May 23-25.
“Being a volunteer is the sweetest deal,” says event manager Peter Joelson, “because you pay nothing, help out a little, and still get a free t-shirt, meals and lodging.”
The Patch Sprint has become Pok-O-MacCready’s largest off-season reunion and fund raiser; 160 people have already registered for this year’s event, pledging $9000 to the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.
Those interested have until May 18 to sign up. All camp family and friends are welcome (while availability lasts). REGISTER HERE (*a waiting list is in place for prospective racers and trekkers)
