Five Ways to Enjoy Camp During the Year!

Even though the summer camp season officially comes to an end this weekend, all of our campers, their families, and alumni will have ample opportunity to visit Pok-O-MacCready over the next twelve months.

Parent22 FAMILY CAMP (August 21-25):  Held each year during the week following summer camp, Alumni & Family camp affords guests to take part in virtually all of the standard camp fare:  from swimming to archery; hiking and boating; and lots of fun games, all led by our seasoned staff.  Guests stay in private lakeside cabins, usually of their own choosing.  Find out more about Family Camp HERE.
Adirondack_Fall FALL “WOW” WEEKEND (October 11-14):  This is a great chance for campers, staff, alumni, family and friends to see camp and the Adirondack Mountains at their most beautiful.  The weekend schedule calls for fall foliage hikes, fun volunteer work projects at camp, meals, and social/relaxation time.  Learn more HERE

CanningGroup THE PATCH SPRINT (May 24-26):  Camp’s largest annual reunion serves as a fund raising event for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.  The Patch Sprint is a 12.5 mile race or trek over the four Pok-O Patch mountains.  Other weekend activities include a kid’s race, meals, parties and a slide show.  Learn more HERE

Other year-round attractions at camp, available either on a walk-in, or reservation basis,  include  The CRUX Climbing Center; The 1812 Homestead, and The Pok-O-MacCready Conference Center.
