“WE’LL ALWAYS BE LIKE ONE! WHA-WHA-WHA- ONEEEEEE!”
As the 4-week session is nearing its completion, campers from all sections of both boys and girls have come together to put on the production of Grease, The Musical. Under the direction of counselors Annie White, Nathan Swan, Kaela Murphy, Abby Davis, and Sebastian Moody, the performance is due for an audience this Friday night. Each counselor is specialized in different areas of performance, making the show even more interesting and complex. “I am really excited about the show. The campers have worked really hard and you can tell they’re as excited as we are.” Kaela adds, as she teaches campers the Hand-Jive.
First- time drama participant, Peter P, landed the role as the dashing Danny Zucko. Alongside him, Jenna Z takes on the role of Sandy Dumbrowski. Being CIT and ADV, they are taking lead in rehearsals to ensure they are performance ready for this weekend. “I love the cast, I love the show, I love the counselors…What’s not to be excited about?” says Nina M Tess H. adds, “I am so excited to perform tomorrow night, it’s going to be great.”
