No one is quite sure whether or not the real American and British soldiers held a dance following the surrender in Yorktown in 1781.
But the post war dance has become a tradition every July 4th at Pok-O-MacCready Summer Camp!
The entire camp gathered Thursday night at Robinson Hall for the first dance of the summer, with campers and counselors moving in pairs, quartets, large groups and long conga lines.
There are several more dances scheduled this summer, including the Pok-O Palooza, and the Halloween dance.
