The Sherred sisters

Last month, an explosion occured in the California home of former Pok-O-MacCready riding director, Alison Sherred.  Not only was the home destroyed, along with everything in it, but Sherred received serious burns and other injuries,  Her sister, Claire, another former camper, counselor, and riding director writes:

“Alison has suffered a devastating propane fire and lost everything. She burned her hands badly, but is otherwise alive and kicking, with all her dogs alive also, and back to teaching, although I worry about those burns and am talking to her almost daily. Her friend set up a website and I just wondered if you could send on to any camp people who would be interested in helping – she needs to rebuild from ground up. thanks for sharing!”
