The Pok-O-MacCready Outdoor Education Center operates from September through June and welcomes school groups, community organizations, and private clubs to participate in the four core PMOEC program areas: Teambuilding, Living History, Natural Science, and High Adventure.

The Crux is Pok-O-MacCready’s new 3200 square foot indoor rockclimbing facility. During the months of October through May, it is open to the public. From June through August it is booked for the exclusive use of Pok-O-MacCready’s summer rockclimbing program, allowing campers to enjoy the sport of rockclimbing at a top-notch facility.

The Adirondack Scholarship Foundation provides several need-based scholarships to provide children with the gift of summer camp. Their mission is “Providing children with the chance to live, learn, laugh, and grow in a beautiful and safe family atmosphere.”

The Patch Sprint Adventure Race is a yearly fundraiser for the Adirondack Scholarship foundation. The race course spans 13.5 miles over four mountains. The weekend-long event includes an expo, adventure race, trekking, childrens’ division, barbeque, awards ceremony, and volunteer service day.
