PMOEC is a Creative Adirondack Birthday Party Venue!

Birthday parties at PMOEC are fun for the children and easy for adults. Our friendly staff will show your children a safe and great time! You can request specific activities, or chose from one of the main themes. Whatever party you choose, your guests are sure to enjoy the birthday celebration!

Birthday parties can be scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays, from October through April. They are arranged to last 4 hours. The 4 hours includes time to eat the birthday cake, to open presents, and for 1 or 2 activities of your choice.

Guests under 18 years of age not accompanied by their parent or guardian at the party must have someone over the age of 18 complete and sign a health form.

For parties with kids of ages 4 to 10 years old: 1:5
For parties with kids of ages 10 or older: 1:10
* Please note that the center expects the ratios’ number of adults in addition to the staff members who will be facilitating the activities.

Sports Party:
Let the PMOEC staff coordinate and facilitate games focusing on a certain sport.

Nature Discovery:
Interact and play with nature! Pok-O staff organizes and facilitates fun activities dealing with basic ecology. Topics change depending on the season, but may include catching bugs in Long Pond, playing Camouflage, tracking animals in the snow, or going on a nature walk.

Do you know what to do when you’re lost in the woods, fire-building techniques when you only have one match, the art of shelter building in all seasons, and orienteering? Come experience survival in any season!

Customize your own theme!
Don’t see your ideal theme? Tell us your idea. We are open to potentially creating a custom theme for your party.

* The Pok-O-MacCready Outdoor Education Center does not staff certified coaches and holds the right to make all final decisions regarding the activities’ safety and age appropriateness.
