Birch_Bark CoverThe first edition of our Birch Bark Book is out and has been well received!  Judy Murphy did an excellent job with the editing; Phil Corell compiled many articles; my daughter Meaghan contributed the cover art, and many of our loyal alumni penned wonderful stories.

However, this is an ongoing process.

As part of our endeavor to preserve Pok-O-MacCready’s rich historic past, we be continuing to add to our own Birch Bark Book.

We would love to have on record all of the fun, crazy, anxious reminiscences that made up so many of our campers and staff lives during their summers here at Camp. We are asking our alumni to think back to their days at Pok-O-MacCready and write down their stories. It can be any length; from a couple of paragraphs to twenty pages long. It could be about hiking, Indian Days, riding, classes, flowerhawks, people, or anything else that would be great to record for the history of Camp. It can be of any year, as long as it revolves around a memory of Pok-O-MacCready. It’s totally up to you. But, we need your help!

Hope to hear from everyone with some great stories.
