August 3, 2004

TRADITION LIVES ON

Bucciarelli Finishes

After failed first attempt, summit of Hough hold Camp’s highest prize

NEWCOMB, NY -- After a first attempt was turned back Friday thanks to a counselor medical issue, Luke Bucciarelli, along with his father Larry and a large portion of the Pok-O Advanced Section traversed the summit of Dix and continued on to Hough in order to make Luke Bucciarelli Pok-O-MacCready’s 261st 46er.

See the full Pok-O Branch list of 46ers here.

A trip report will be posted this weekend.

Super Marcy takes center stage

Changes in Web Service for next 4 days

WILLSBORO, NY -- For two periods during the summer, your faithful webmaster will not be able to post pictures and stories as frequently as he otherwise would.  The first of these periods, Indian Games, has come and gone.  The second, his Super Marcy trip, begins tomorrow, and will last until Sunday, August 8.

To tide you over, please visit our Picture of the Day Page to see a bonus section of large pictures and captions from the last 3-7 days of camp.

Normal web service, with stories about all four Super Marcies, the Bucciarelli Finish, and the Big MacCready Horse Show, will continue this weekend.
