“KNOW WHEN TO HOLD EM”

A night of high stakes, stealing and scandal.

robber2  It was chaos at the casino last night as gamblers tried to win money and then hold on to it. The casino was crawling with thieves who were dressed in black and lurked around in the shadows trying to take people’s winnings. Even though there were a few deputies patrolling, the thieves were extremely elusive and managed to sneak off into the night.

“I was winning at roulette and I planned on gambling my money away, but a robber stole $5,000 from me. Later I caught him off guard and stole $100,000 from him. He deserved it,” remarked Jonathan Schmer. David Bell explained, “being a robber was a lot of fun, but I samdefinitely felt guilty when I stole money from the younger kids.”

The gamblers had a choice to use their winnings to buy snacks and candy or they could continue to play different games. There were many different things to do including Texas Hold Em”, Blackjack and Craps. “I won a ton of money playing craps and it felt great to keep winning; it was hard to stop,” remarked Olivia Mason.

Ella Horwitz felt that the scene last night was “like a real casino except it was age appropriate.” Sam Politi especially enjoyed the end of the evening because it “was the best time to spend the rest of your money on all the candy that you could afford.” Maria Bacci summed up the evening best by saying, “I just liked playing the games, winning the money, and buying the candy.”
