Dear Parents,

Greetings from Camp! The sun is shining in the Adirondacks and our campers are busy making friends and having fun. Parents’ Day this year will be Saturday, July 19th, starting at 9:00 am and ending at 7:30 pm.  We encourage campers and their families to stay for our annual Pok-O Picnic 11:15 am. Camp will be going tropical this year with a Rainforest theme.  It will be great food and a lot of fun!

After the Picnic you are welcome to take your child out for the afternoon.  If you choose to stay at camp for the afternoon you may enjoy any of the great activities that our campers are involved in such as boating, sports, and swimming.  Camp activities will be accessible until 4:30pm.  Please be sure campers are back by 7:30pm.  A list of nearby accommodations for visitors is also enclosed, as well as a list of attractions you might be interested in seeing.

Some other quick reminders:

The four week session ends on Sunday, July 27nd.

Our three week session begins on Tuesday, July 29th.

The full camp season concludes on Saturday, August 16th.

Alumni/Family Camp runs from Wednesday, August 20th to Sunday, August 24th.

For those campers that take the bus home either at the 4 week session or the 7 week session, the pick-up spots will be in Elmsford at the Sym’s parking lot or in New York City at the Roosevelt Hotel.  The bus will arrive in Elmsford between 1:30 and 2:00 pm and in New York City between 2:30 and 3:00.

Camp is not just for kids anymore!  Enclosed you will find the registration form for our fourth annual Alumni & Family Camp.  It will be a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends in a majestic Adirondack setting and share in Pok-O-MacCready’s magic.  We look forward to seeing you both on Parents’ Day and for Family Camp!

                                                                        Sincerely,
