Within 24 hours after the arrival of the second session campers, all 180 boys and girls began their three-week class period s Wednesday morning. Every day throughout the session, boys will take three morning “classes”, while the girls will have a total of four morning and afternoon periods.
“It’s good: lots of choices, “said Isabelle Homberg, who traveled to camp from Spain. “I’m taking dance, riding, drama and swimming. There aren’t enough periods to take all the classes I want.” Lewis Hallowell thinks that “classes are fun because you learn new stuff and you get to meet people with the same interests.” And long-time camper Alyssa Dolgin points out that “you get to take the same classes everyday, so you have more time to work on projects.”
Look over the next few days for a pictorial gallery of many of the 27 class offerings.
