Love in the Air, Pizza in the Bellies

Palooza05 It was all about peace, and pieces and pizza Saturday night for the 103rd annual Pok-O Palooza. Campers converged on the junior ball field to take part in a variety of games, including limbo and zip line. Also, face painting, pony rides, hair braiding, massages, a wedding chapel, palm readings and love letters, all to a backdrop of live music provided by Stevey and the Hipsters.

As diverse as the entertainment was the selection of pizza for the campers to enjoy, from green bean slices to meat lovers delight. “It was a groovy time,” said one camper while another quipped: “C’mon people now, smile on your brother. Everybody get together and try and love one another right now!”
