REVOLUTIONARY WAR (Fri. 7/4) -
|
A British city is captured by the USA!
|
The birthday of the USA is honored with a camp-wide game that attempts to re-create (or in some cases alter) history as it was originally set forth. The entire camp is divided into two teams
- Americans and British- and wage war in a dozen different cities and ports. Counselors serve as commanding officers. On the evening of the game-
following the truce, of course! - the entire camp gathers again, this time for a camp dance!
When you combine the thrill of the game itself with the timing of the event, The
Revolutionary War has proven to be a hugely successful early season game, blending excitement, camaraderie and camper-counselor interaction.
