Pok-O-Moonshine Mountain, visible from our own Long Pond, is the namesake for the original boys camp. Its sheer cliffs inspired the Algonquin Native Americans to name it
“Pohqui” (broken) and “Moosi” (smooth), hence the origin of its English name. The highest of the four Pok-O Patch mountains, it has spectacular views of Long Pond and Lake Champlain.
