The POK-O-MacCREADY 46-in-a-Day event takes place each summer, held in conjunction with Pok-O-MacCready’s Alumni & Family Camp in August.

The event hopes to place a member of the camp family on top of each of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks during one calendar day.

The event serves as a fund raiser for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation..

 - Members of the camp family- campers, parents, alumni and staff- are encouraged to take part.

- Interested participants may hike, volunteer or simply make a donation in support of the 46-in-a-Day.

Sawteeth- Participants will receive a commemorative water bottle, and are welcome to join the celebratory Bar-B-Q at Camp Saturday night.

- Hikes will be awarded on a “first come, first serve” basis.  However, anyone who would like to take part is welcome to register and join in; there is room for plenty of hikers per trip.

- Seven times in the past, the Pok-O-MacCready family has endeavored to climb all 46 in a single day, succeeding in that quest in 1992, while just missing out in 1990, 1991, 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2008. (See listing of past attempts here).
